A. The Chrysler Building.
While it was only the tallest building for 11 months, it still surpassed the Eiffel Tower. It was then surpassed by the Empire State Building, then that was (I think) surpassed by the Sears tower, which is now now as the Willis Tower. Sears' name rights or something expired in '03 or so, and then some Willis company bought it and renamed it.
