I am receiving so many answers in response to today's (and even tomorrow's) trivia question! I want to let you know that I have read and noted who has responded, but I will not publish the answers until after 9PM (only for 9/16.) I will publish the comments/answers after 9PM each evening the day the question was asked to assure that everyone has gotten a chance to do their research...and not publish answers ahead of time to assure noone cheats! For instance, some of you have already responded to the "All for one, and one for all!" question, but I will not post your answers until tomorrow (Wednesday) after 9PM.

Bon travail, mes étudiants intelligents! I'm proud of you.

PS. I went out to dinner tonight and ordered a veggie burger and the waitress asked me "How would you like that cooked?" I looked at her befuddled and asked "Is there a difference?" She then proceeded to tell me that most ask for medium-well...I told her I didn't even realize there were options for cooking a veggie burger. 'Umm, just not frozen please?'
I'm still not sure if she was serious.
Random...

Attn:8th grade

I would like the rough draft of your compositions complete by Monday morning. I am taking 1st period to the computer lab on Monday to type and periods 4 and 8 on Tuesday. Period 1 will have extra time on Tuesday during class to finish creating the artistic element of the project (where 4th and 8th will have Monday.)

Oh, and if you can, please review the link to the right 'How to type French accents on the computer' so you are somewhat familiar with how to to it prior to a little explanation in the computer lab. When you use the ALT + code you must use the number pad on the right of your keyboard!

Merci.

dimanche le 14 septembre (a weekend interlude.)

I have had requests/questions regarding writing about my weekends...
Hmm. I suppose I would write about them if something happened that related to school, or my students: a weird dream (about class), a French restaurant, chatting with my French grandparents...you know, stuff like that.

I love getting your comments and questions, so keep them coming. I'll try to respond to as many as I can since that's why I started this whole thing.
I'm also loving that I see some of you have started your own blogs. Writing is an art that is often neglected these days.
Just make sure that your comments and writing are things that you would never mind me or your parents reading (since they have access to the blog, too.)

The randomness of your blogs makes me smile.

Je vais au "Gout de New Paltz" aujourd'hui. Voilà.
