** Gave the choice to write 7, 10, or 12 lines as well as choice of how many cells their cartoon could have. They all seemed really excited when I showed them the program. I made them all write the dialogue first using different colored markers for different people speaking. Better than last year with kids who lost their dialogues or wanted to create first. However, 2 classes only managed to log on and create accounts in the remainder of classtime...which was a waste.

reflection: what a great class. Only 16 students. This is the way it should always be! only took 40 minutes to go over La Rentrée powerpoint, first Greetings powerpoint, AND me telling two back to school childhood stories. Green section is behind because of class size.

reflection: taking 8th grade a lot longer than expected to finished their collage project. Game of asking and answering queestions went very well. Not too much pressure, volunteer basis. Having student document who is participating working GREAT.
