La petite lapine - Madame Manley's Blog

"Voici mon secret. Il est très simple: on ne voit bien qu'avec le cœur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

About Me

My photo
La petite lapine (the little rabbit):
Je m'appelle Madame Manley, ta professeur de français. I was born in 1978 on Long Island, NY although I moved to London, England one year later. I attended school in London for ten years before moving back to New York. I spent my summers in the South of France with my grandparents (I'm named after my French grandmother) and practiced French at home with my mom. In 1995 I graduated from Valley Central High School with blue hair and punk rock clothes! I never went to my Senior Prom since I didn't have a boyfriend that was cool enough to take me at the time :-(I attended college at SUNY New Paltz majoring in French and education. It's amazing I accomplished so much because I am legally blind and without my contact lenses I wouldn't be able to see 5 fingers in front of my face! I am married to an English teacher at JWB and a mama to two kids,a two and a half old son, Jackson, and five month old baby girl, Adèle. I have been teaching at Miller Middle School since 2001. \<3
J'adore mon école, mon mari, mes bébés, ma maison, ma famille, les vêtements, la télévision, faisant le shopping, la bonne cuisine,le cinéma, la musique, et toutes les choses françaises!
