Escargot - "Nobody is sure how this got started. Probably a couple of French master chefs were standing around one day, and they found a snail, and one of them said: 'I bet that if we called this something like "escargot," tourists would eat it.' They they had a hearty laugh, because 'escargot' is the French word for 'fat crawling bag of phlegm.'

Why website?
  • Keeps me organized
  • Keeps students organized and avoids the "WAWDT" question
  • Keeps parents "in the loop."
  • Great springboard for new technologies being installed
  • APPR Much? Amy Crantz showed middle school teachers some great ways to keep track of reflections/progress/lessons on our last Conference Day. This site helps me reflect on previous years/which lessons worked and did not/and keeps me cognizant of how much time I am spending on target areas each day (Speaking/Reading/Listening/Writing)
  • Makes you look fancy
