Charlemagne...grrr i know that name from somewhere but i can't remember...i feel bad for pippin the short, what a terrible name...lol if Andre doesn't answer this trivia we should all call him Andre the short!

Charlemange is the answer(spelled incorrectly I
believe). His empire would last until another famous
Frenchman (Corsican actually), a Napolean Bonaparte conquered it in the name of France in the early 1800s.
